Pound cake


 


*Ingredients:


°1 cup all-purpose flour


°1 cup cake flour


°1 tsp baking powder


°Half a teaspoon of salt


°7 oz (1¾ stick) softened butter, plus 1 Tbsp to grease a baking sheet


°3 ounces cream cheese


°1½ cups sugar


°5 eggs


°1 cup pure vanilla extract


*Methods:


Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 9 x 5 loaves of butter.


In a large bowl, sift the all-purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder and salt. sit down.


With a hand mixer or hand mixer, beat the butter and cheese on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the sugar and stir for 1 minute.

 Add the eggs, one at a time, then the vanilla; Stir for 1 minute until well blended. With the mixer on low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean, 50 minutes. Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before placing on a wire rack to cool completely.
