ONE-POT BROCCOLI, CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE

Ingredients

2 cups water

2 cups uncooked rice

1 -10 ounce can of cream of chicken soup

1-10 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup

2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded

¼ cup butter

1 cup of milk

1 small white onion

16 ounces broccoli pieces

2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350*

Cook the rice according to directions

In a 9x13 baking pan, put the rice and the chicken in, add in the soups, butter, broccoli and onion. Stir together with 1 cup of the cheese

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes

During the last few minutes, sprinkle the rest of the cheese on the top and allow it to melt.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Serve with a dinner salad or breadsticks.

Serve hot and enjoy!
