Crock Pot Coca Cola Roast


1 (3-4 pound) beef roast (such as chuck roast)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 onion, sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup Coca Cola

1/2 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

3 carrots, peeled and cut into chunks

2 potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks


Season the beef roast with salt and pepper.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned. Transfer to the crock pot.

In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened. Add to the crock pot.

Pour Coca Cola, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce over the roast. Sprinkle Italian seasoning on top.

Add carrots and potatoes around the roast.

Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the roast is tender.

Remove the roast and vegetables. Slice the roast and serve with the vegetables and sauce.
